Privacy policy
This site is deliberately frugal: opening it makes your browser load files from this domain only. No cookies are set, and there is no advertising.

2. Page requests and server logs
The site is hosted by Vercel Inc., 340 S Lemon Ave #4133, Walnut, CA 91789, USA. When you request a page, Vercel processes technically necessary connection data such as your IP address, date and time, the requested address, the status code and your browser identification.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest is being able to deliver the site at all and to detect faults. Without this processing a request is technically impossible.
3. Audience measurement
Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights count page views and measure loading times. Both scripts are served from this domain, set no cookies and store nothing in your browser.
No recognisable profile and no cross-device linkage is created. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, the legitimate interest in rough usage statistics and in spotting slow pages.
4. Error monitoring and session replay
Sentry is used for debugging. The data goes to an endpoint in the EU region (ingest.de.sentry.io). When an error occurs, the error message, the requested address, technical browser details and your IP address are transmitted.
Sentry is additionally configured with the "session replay" feature. It records the course of a session — navigation, clicks and interface input — so that an error can be reproduced. A share of sessions is recorded, as are sessions in which an error occurs. For this, Sentry stores the key "sentryReplaySession" in your browser session storage; it is deleted when the tab closes.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, the legitimate interest in fault-free operation. If you wish to object to the recording, an informal email to the address above is enough.
5. Fonts
The fonts are delivered from this domain along with the page. No connection to Google Fonts or any other external server is made, and no IP address is transmitted to third parties.
6. Getting in touch
If you write to me, I process your details in order to answer the enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR. The message is kept for as long as it is needed to deal with it, or for as long as statutory retention periods apply.
7. Transfers to the USA
Vercel, which operates the infrastructure, is based in the USA. The transfer relies on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses, or on the adequacy decision for the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified under it.
8. Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR). An informal email is enough.
You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The competent one is the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision, Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany.
9. No automated decision-making
There is no automated decision-making and no profiling within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR.
